Foundry Film Co. is a full-service video production agency built on the belief that powerful stories forge lasting impact. With over 20 years of combined experience, we specialize in crafting emotionally resonant films, commercials, and branded content that bring vision to life—from concept to final cut.
Founded by Brandon Blackburn and Jason Watkins, Foundry Film Co. began as a creative partnership in 2016 and officially launched in 2020. Early in their collaboration, the duo co-wrote and produced a short film that earned multiple awards in 2017—an early marker of their shared vision for impactful, cinematic storytelling. Before launching Foundry, Brandon and Jason also played a key role in building in-house film departments for large, multi-campus churches and mentoring local creatives—helping to develop and elevate emerging talent within their communities. Together, they’ve since led projects across industries—from education and healthcare to entertainment and ministry—always guided by a commitment to excellence, authenticity, and purpose-driven storytelling.
Our name, Foundry, reflects more than just craftsmanship—it speaks to transformation. Just as metal is melted, refined, and forged into something strong and useful, we believe great storytelling is shaped through vision, pressure, and persistence. Inspired by the biblical imagery of the blacksmith’s fire, our work is rooted in the idea that trials refine, purpose shapes, and excellence is forged.
